3. Begin your program Every course begins and ends with an in-depth speech evaluation.
Home assignments are a part of each course Each week you will be responsible to complete home assignments, based on skills addressed during each lesson. You will use audio CD's and your textooks to complete your assignments. Daily practice is the key to maximum improvement!
The initial speech evaluation: The purpose of the initial assessment is to obtain detailed information about your current level of English and includes a variety of speaking tasks. The information gathered from this evaluation, as well as your goals, will be included in the development of your program. Your lessons will be customized for you based on your specific needs. You will receive a written report outlining specific areas of weakness which will be discussed with you at your first lesson. Read more...
During the speech evaluation you will arrange a convenient day and time during the week (Monday through Friday) for your weekly lessons. You and your instructor will decide on a start date together.
The final assessment: During your final lesson you will receive a final speech evaluation. Results of the first evaluation will be compared with results of this one to document your improvement. You will receive a written report outlining your improvement through email. Read more...
