During your last lesson you will receive a final assessment, which is provided free of charge. This will consist of specific speaking tasks taken from your initial speech evaluation, including pronunciation of specific words, constructing sentences using those words, and a reading task. Results of the first and second evaluations will be compared to determine your precise improvement.
In addition to the above tasks, you will also be scored on your pronunciation and speaking tasks during a conversational sample. This is the most important part of your assessment because it is in everyday speaking situations where your speech matters most. During this section, you will be assessed on how well you pronounce the sounds you have learned, as well as all other skills addressed during your course.
You will receive a final evaluation report within 1-2 weeks of your final assessment. The report will also contain suggestions for continued home practice to ensure continued improvement on developing skills.
